This week in Learning:

MATH: continuing with diagrams and charts to show information gathered. Also we will be beginnning probability. I anticipate the test to be next week.  

SCIENCE: We began what a forest looks like today. Students are to find  the one evergreen that acts like a deciduous. 

SOCIAL:  We will begin Federal Government this week and tests from Provincial govnt. will go home tomorrow to be signed and returned.

ELA: Working on newspaper articles this week

FLA: Tour à tour, reciprocal teaching/learning for reading comprehension. Also working on poems and Lip sync. Lots to do.

SANTE: Students were asked to do a survey on what other students eat for snack in various classrooms. They now need to put this information in chart/diagram à la mathematique and tell me one thing they learned from their surveys. Also, comparison between old and new Canada Food guide due next day 6.

Lip Sync auditions Wed, Thu, Friday at 11h30

We have been given the opportunity to go downtown and visit the New Central Library and City Hall on May 30th. At this time, I am looking for 4 volunteers who would be available to help out. If you can, from 9am-3pm please email asap to let me know. All volunteers must have had the orientation on the school website. Field Trip forms will be sent home soon.
