This week in Learning:

I am finding that some students are treating due dates as "suggestions" as opposed to handing things in on time. This is not a good habit to get into for when they go to Jr High and High School. Please use your time wisely and use your agendas.

FLA: we will be finishing story prompt this week. Due Thursday. Continuing to memorise poems.

ELA: continuing shadows post reading activities. They are also due Thursday of this week.

SOCIAL: students voted today and our results cannot be disclosed until after the provincial election is closed on Tuesday at 8pm. Students are working on finishing cahpter 6, Provincial government. Test is after Easter April 25th. Only 3 students answered the question on the Governor General for Canada and the Lieutenant Governor for AB.

SCIENCE: finishing the unit on flight and the test is Thursday this week. As you can see, a lot is due Thursday which means it is a good time to use time management skills and spread out the studying and homework.

RELIGION: students are preparing the Passion of Christ in Reader's Theater form. They will present to me on Wednesday.

MATH: we did experiments today to make up statistics. We move onto how to plot this info this week.

Holy Thursday liturgy @ 9h30
Jump rope at 1pm Tuesday: If you have your own skipping rope, bring it to school.
Good Friday, Easter Monday and Tuesday off
