This week in learning:

Math tests are going home to be signed and returned. We are beginning a unit on geometry and measure and it will include things such as perimeter and area and volume, but it will begin with a review of triangles and the total measure of their angles.

SCIENCES: looking forward to seeing to what the students brought to make their parachutes today. They will be dropped on Wednesday, weather permitting.  Posters on their flying bird or insect was due today.

ES: we continue with municipal government and what the job of counsellors are, including sitting on committees.

FLA: we will do some reading comprehension this week before moving onto either a poetry unit or novel study.

ELA: we will finish looking at prefixes today and move onto suffixes. Students are encouraged to use these tools in their writing to improve upon vocabulary.

Religion: we continue with Lentopoly and look at the Gospel readings. We just finished the Beatitudes and next up will be why we pray.

Music: students are working on a research/presentation project on an instrument they picked  blindly. A due date will be forthcoming.

ART: we are working on gridding of photos to make them bigger.
