This week in Learning:

FLA: finishing the poetry unit. Final assignments due May 24th. Then we will be doing another Hockey Lecture unit to help with reading comprehension for the PAT's.

ELA: finishing the newspaper unit. Everyone's article should be done and we will then put together the whole paper. Also to come, reading comprehension practices.

MATH: finishing the unit on polygones, area, perimeter, and volume today. Test is slated for May 25th. 

SOCIAL: federal government. We will look closely at our Constitution and how it protects our rights to the democratic principles. 

HEALTH: students were asked to write down their eating habits for 2 weeks; once to say what they ate, and the next week, to write from which category of the canadian food guide they ate. These are due tomorrow at the latest.

RELIGION: Still trying to finish the Family life unit...too many questions these children have! With the Ascension and Pentecost over, they should expect a quiz on the Easter season next week.

ART: Picasso self portraits
