Yeah...loved seeing everyone this morning and praying that it continues in person.
This week in Learning:

FLA: we get back to Hockey lecture competition with grammar thrown in. Book reports that students have been working on since November will be due next Friday.
ELA: we will present Reader's Theater this week and then move onto finishing the Greek god research.
MATH: test tomorrow on decimals and then moving onto angles (Please make sure that you have a protractor)
RELIGION: going into unit 4 Answering God's call
SCIENCE: test on Astronomie this Thursday, working on a creative project...invent your own planet. Only 3 more classes will be given to work on this project. Time management is key.
ART: we will finish Greek vases and then a class will be given to make an alien for Science. Bringing personal art materials from home is suggested.

Other:
This past weekend there were a lot of movies about space that made me think it would be fun for the kids to watch one with parents. I cannot show them in class due mostly to language, but you can make the call. Some suggestions:
The Martian
Apollo 13
Gravity
The Right Stuff

SANTE: those students who missed a few questions from last week's class, should answer them (sent on Gmail) and send their learning styles to Mme asap.
