This week in Learning:
MATH: tests will be going home as soon as all students have written it. They are to signed and returned to school. This lets me know that you, the parents, know how your child is doing at the end of units.
ES: we will look at the election results and move onto our own class election. Candidates will make their speeches on the 21st at 9am. Unit test on the 25th of October, start studying now.
FLA: we will have non candidate speeches about democracy this week.
ELA: we are completeing Vermeer and will move onto a news article about the theft. Learning how to write a news article is part of the PAT's so pay close attention. Also think of an optional project to go with the novel study. Due date coming soon.
SCIENCE: this week will focus on the crime sent to us by YOUTH link, so that it may be solved when we attend the field trip.
Religion notebooks due this Friday. 10 mini assignments and 2 reflections of liturgies.
ART: sketchbooks were due last Friday and I have a huge list of students who did not turn it in. I give students one month to complete an element of art before handing it in. I am recognizing that some students are not paying attention to due dates.
MUSIQUE: research on singer/group and lyrics is due and as soon as we finish the head to head competition we will present them.
