Please read the previous BLOG for important information if you have not already done so. 17 students do not have protractors for the next unit in Math. These are mandatory and essential.


This week in learning:
FLA: looking at the verb tense "imparfait". Will begin Hockey lecture this week, which is reading comprehension game.

ELA: finishing greek gods and goddesses presentations. Working on suffixes in grammar.

MATH: beginning angles, a lot of vocabulary to learn in the beginning.

Social: Test for Ancient Greece next Monday. This week beginning the Iroquois Confederacy and how it fits in with Democracy. Greek games this Friday @ 1pm in the gym. TOGAS required.

ART: Mardi Gras decorations. Sketchbooks are due Jan 26th on COLOR. TOday we began the element of texture.

MUSIC: researching a french artist but more importantly analyzing the lyrics to their song.

HEALTH: we will look at learning styles/tendencies and how to study. This Thursday, we will have Money Mentors come and speak about "Savvy Spending".
