Short week this week…

I can feel the end coming sooner than I wish it to!

FR: continuing to do reading comprehension exercises with our round II of Hockey Lecture. Also students will be able to be the teachers in another exercise that has them asking the questions and giving guidance with respect to vocabulary.

ELA: finishing the final projects for Shadows of Disaster.

MATH: finishing probability this week and will have a test coming up next week.

SOCIAL: finishing federal government this week and a unit test coming up next week.

SCIENCE: beginning our unit on trees. I have decided that I will be sending the notes home through google mail. We will study and discuss in class and then if students wish to copy the notes, they can do so from home. This is a great way to get used to checking their mail for assignments and such for Jr High next year. The responsibility is in their hands.

HEALTH: they will be doing a short research on drugs, their effects and street names, so they are knowledgeable and not ignorant about abuses.

RELIGION: we are looking at internet safety, with respect to our unit on human sexuality.

ART: finishing Picasso
