This week in learning:
MATH: students will be receiving their math test on decimals, % and ratios tomorrow to be signed and returned. We had to wait for students who were absent to write before sending them home. I am seeing a marked improvement in their math scores...bien fait les élèves. Keep it up. We continue with the measurement of triangles and polygones this week.
SCIENCE: we were supposed to launch parachutes tomorrow but with the new snow, that won't happen (be ready with your materials anyway in case). We will look at helicopters instead and also students should be ready to make paper airplanes on Thursday. The test on air and aerodynamics will be shortly after break...heads up.
ES: today we wrote municipal government test. Student should be completing their project on Wards by Wednesday to present this week.
FLA: last week we looked at francophones in AB. Next up will be reader's theater for a week until after Easter where we will write a story and do poetry.
ELA: We have finished poetry and are working on prefixes and suffixes before Easter break. We might also start a new novel study.
Religion: yesterday's Gospel was about Lazarus, we will discuss and make a symbol. This weel we will look at the stations of the cross and how we can use them inprayer and our daily lives.
Music: due date for instrument project will be next Monday. There will be time this week to continue on it.
ART: lyrics project due Thursday this week, we work on it today.

If parents have not already signed up to help with the last bakesale, above is the link to do. We are missing help to sell especially on Friday.
If parents choose to go on vacation early, the teacher is not required to send material that the student will miss. The student may check the Blog daily.
Question pour demain:
