MUSIQUE: we have been working on Francophone music for quite some time and now the date to present their musician/group is Feb 2nd. Students will also be sharing on the intercom to the rest of the school after the noon hour recess. If your child seems to doing a lot of work on this at night, it is because they may have wasted time in class.
Science: experience:
This Week in Learning:
MATH: we are almost done the unit on angles. One more lesson and review. We will have the unit test next week on Thursday Feb 4th
FLA: students need to be doin more reading. We had a comprehension test last week after Hockey lecture and several did not do well. We will be doing activities to read between the lines as well beginning a novel study. Reading chapters every night is must.
ELA: we will begin a unit on poetry next. I love this unit and hope to inspire your children to love it as well.
SCIENCES: we begin our unit on air starting with several experiments. Students need to keep track of their experiment procedures to hand in at the end of the unit.

Musique: research on chosen artist will be due next Day 6, which is next Wed.

Hello Colette Page-Turner and students from St. Luke School,
Thank you for your generous donation of 800 fill-a-socks and other items! We truly appreciate your support! These items will be directly used to serve the most vulnerable in our city.
The DI is more than an emergency shelter. We provide essential care as well as health services, employment training, and housing supports to thousands of people who need help. Our programs and services connect people to permanent housing that meets their individual needs and supports their journey back to independence.
With this in mind, we hope you will consider the Calgary Drop-In Centre when donating in the future. We thank you again for your kind donation. Because of donors like yourself we are able to support vulnerable Calgarians in our community.
With kindness,
Colin
