This week in Learning:

FLA: round 2 of Hockey Lecture. Teams were chosen today. It is to help with the reading comprehension PAT.

ELA: We will be having a look at a reading comprehension PAT so the students know what to expect. The newspapers are up on the bulletin board and the students are having fun reading them. Awesome project on collaboration.

Math: Tests on geometry have been corrected. they will go home to be signed tomorrow. We begin PROBABILITY this week.

SOCIAL: For the most part, we are done unit 7 on the federal government. We will have a review this week and a test next week. If it so happens that we finish Social early, I will be helping out to finish the last unit in Science. At this time of the year, we will be very flexible in our scheduling so that we can finish the material needed and ignore other subjects. We want to ensure that your children feel ready for the PAT's. 

Science: Test this Thursday on Air and Aerodynamicx

Music: research projects on the musical instrument are due this Thursday, May 31. We will be presenting them.

ART: finishing painting our Picasso self portraits.

FRIDAY: our field trip to Weaselhead. the forecast looks rainy yet again, so be prepared. A note will go home later this week for a reminder of what to bring.
