Updates for this week:

  • Today students were given a diagnostic math evaluation to see what they retained from grade 5. This is NOT for a mark...just for me to see what I need to focus on as a teacher this year in Math.
  • The election is fast approaching. Students have been busy gathering information on party platforms. If they are behind they should consider doing some work at home.
  • Sent home today were consent forms for the HPV vaccine. Please read the information carefully and return the forms by Monday the latest.
  • I have been noticing that students do not have all of their materials to be prepared for learning. Please try your best to get all materials so that it leads to student success.
  • We have been given a license this year for Raz kids because we notice that reading comprehension in French has decreased over the last few years. As soon as I enter the students into the system, they will be asked to do nightly reading. Some activities also include listening to oral French.
  • Last day for Toonie for Terry. We will draw for the T-shirt at 2h15 after the run. I am still missing few permission forms.

Here's to a great year of learning and getting ready for the next chapter of your lives.
This is where you will find any information that you  need for the week. Check it a few times per week and this is for students as well as parents.

Please bring your school supplies tomorrow as we will be getting our subjects organized. You should all have an agenda for writing homework and other important messages. Student demographic and other forms will go home tomorrow. The sooner they are returned, the better. Parents should have also filled out the Parent questionnaire this weekend so that I get to know your child from your point of view.
See  you tomorrow, bright and early and ready to begin the 2021-2022 school year.
